Soul Food Welcomes You

School Backpack Program

At Soul Food we’re raising awareness of childhood hunger in our region. Through donations and awesome community support we are able to feed children in the Eastern Kentucky school systems  that may otherwise go hungry on the weekends. Food insecurity is at an all time high in our region.

Our volunteers have hearts to serve and are the hands and feet of Jesus, ordering food, picking up food, packing food, and delivering food to the Family Resource Departments at the schools. We are a 100% volunteer with no administrative costs. If you can support our program know that 100% of the proceeds goes to getting food in bellies on the weekends.
